Just thought I'd make a quick little update:

The writing process for "Slice of Life" is going really well, as more than 70% of the more instrument heavy songs are nearing completion. I've also started experimenting with the sound palette for the production, and the guitars are sounding stellar! Midi and VST's are to be kept at a minimum in order to make everything a little more organic, meaning there will be a real trumpet player, a real flutist and hopefully a real drummer. The current task at hand is finishing the writing process before moving on to refining the sound palette.
